Hi! I’m Danyel, the sole artist behind Northwood Originals.

Back in 2022, I graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Visual & Creative Arts at Sheridan College. After which I dove headfirst into taking on my business full time.

However that’s not where I started. I’ve been drawn to the arts for as long as I can remember. At the ripe old age of 13, I began putting my little works into the world at my towns local Christmas market.

Since then I’ve truly found my stride with one of the most abundant resources around me, wood! I love to work with acrylic or with woodburning tools to create my artworks, large and small.

I’m truly honoured to see how my business has grown, I am happy to see you all here!
